XC TEAM RULES:

COME TO PRACTICE. Every day. Don't make excuses. Your team knows when you do.

DON'T COMPLAIN. IF YOU DO, IT PUTS THE THOUGHT IN SOMEONE ELSE'S HEAD! Talk to the captains or coach if you have an issue. Address a problem rather than spreading negativity.

NO SWEARING. WE HAVE MORE CLASS THAN THAT

GIVE 100% AT EVERY PRACTICE. If you don't do it everyday you will be hurting the team on meet days.Don’t make excuses.Just do it!

BE A CONTRIBUTER, NOT MERELY A PARTICIPANT!

HAVE A SNACK AFTER SCHOOL, BEFORE PRACTICE. A car won't run on an empty tank, and neither will you. Without fuel you cannot give 100% in practice, which hurts us on meet day!

GET ENOUGH SLEEP! Your performance will suffer if you don't, and that means every night, not just on days before the meet! It all comes back to giving 100% in practice :)

ASK YOURSELF: "AM I A GOOD TEAMMATE?"When was the last time you helped a younger teammate? Supported a slower teammate?

HOLD THE ROPE!!!

"Practice isn’t the thing you do once you’re good.

It’s the thing you do that makes you good."

Malcolm Gladwell
